Manning Point – paradise for any fisherman.
Those “in the know”, are often up at dawn and have breakfast “in the bag” before others have emerged for the day. The river provides an abundance of bream, flathead and luderick. We have our own jetty at our river frontage and storage facilities for boats are available. Surf casting from the beach can result in good catches of whiting, tailor and jewfish.
If you are not fisherman, our meandering river lends itself to discovery by boat. Harrington is approx 10 minutes by boat across the Manning River. Dolphins frequent the river during the summer months and a boat trip as the tide comes in may well reward you with a dolphin encounter.
Swimming, surfing, body boarding, water skiing, jet skiing and canoeing are all enjoyed at Manning Point.
